ENTRE NOUS is an artistic exploration of the fragile and shifting borders between the intimate and the private, the public and the hidden, as experienced in everyday life in Tunisia. The project draws from traditions and subtle gestures that simultaneously conceal and reveal — movements that create a unique intimacy with objects and spaces, where the unseen holds as much significance as the visible.

Using the border as both a metaphor and a method, the project opens up these territories to new ways of seeing and relating, inviting encounters that challenge fixed narratives and hegemonic perspectives. It reflects on the invisible metrics that define distance between self and other, between home and public, tradition and modernity.

By capturing these silent, often overlooked expressions, Between Us reveals how memory, identity, and social relations are constructed within this complex interplay of visibility and invisibility. It proposes a sensitive reflection on how we inhabit spaces, how intimacy is experienced, and how personal and collective stories emerge from the spaces in between.
