Carol Priego is a visual conceptual artist, researcher, and educator whose practice explores borders, limits, and thresholds as sites of encounter between human and more-than-human worlds. Through research-driven and participatory methodologies, she investigates the role of images in shaping collective imaginaries and our relationships with territory, ecology, memory, and community.
Grounded in concepts of duality, balance, and interdependence, her work examines the structures that organize visibility, belonging, and coexistence. Through photography, installation, and experimental image-making, she develops relational situations that reveal and reimagine the connections linking bodies, landscapes, and social systems.
Her work has been shown internationally, including in New York, Spain, Tunisia, Indonesia, and Canada.
